with such influences as de kooning, rauschenberg, degas and holbein, nick's eclectic but unique brand of art mirrors his diverse musical expressions.

majoring in fine art at the colorado college, nick also attended classes at the corcoran gallery in washington, dc and the art institute of chicago. he was a cofounder of '1,2,red,blue,' an underground arts coalition in college, and was the arts editor of 'the leviathan,' the school's cultural journal.

nick moved to seattle and had exhibitions in several galleries as well as the famed bumbershoot arts festival. his work had been shown in seattle, portland, chicago, colorado springs, denver, tucson and los angeles. nick's art hangs in the collections of the colorado college, the culver academies, the rugged land corporation, and trapper joe inc., as well as many private collections throughout the world.
